My Project

Both water bottles and headphones take part in creating a positive classroom environment.

Children need a comfortable and productive learning environment where they can grow and be successful.

All day, every day, students are asking to leave the room to get a drink from the water fountain. Students complain of being thirsty or that they are not feeling well. Water bottles will help students to remain in the classroom and focus on their work without having to get up to leave. It will not only help them to stay hydrated and healthy, but it will also aid in their concentration, energy levels, and overall cognitive function.

My students learn in an open classroom, which is a room that is not completely enclosed with walls. With this, we are able to hear noises from other classrooms, see teachers and students walking by, hear conversations in the hallway, and mainly anything that happens on our floor. These distractions can take away from students learning. With the use of technology in the classroom, headphones can be useful for individual activities, such as watching educational videos and listening to books and instructions. Headphones will help my students to focus by blocking out all the background noise around them.
