My Students

Our first graders are beyond excited to have some real physical education this year. We have over one hundred first graders and would love to hold onto their excitement for physical education. There is a strong need to practice teamwork, sportsmanship, and hand eye coordination. As soon as the what’s P.E. Question was answered, it is now a daily question of when is p.e.? Our only problem we do not have a sufficient amount of equipment to run our first grade P.E. rotations.

My Project

Our first graders are more than eager to being experiencing P.E. and all the fun that we can have as a class and grade level. On the first day of school, many students did not know what P.E. was. Upon explanation they began to get really excited. We need playground balls to work on four square and handball, soccer balls to play soccer, and kickball balls to enjoy many games of kickball.

The daily question now is, "When are we going to do P.E.?" With the help from receiving this equipment we can help capture that excitement and help our students live an active lifestyle while having fun with their peers and our classroom family.
