My Students

The students in my classes are a diverse group, from a multitude of backgrounds. Some are from families where they will be the first to attend college, while others are from families where paying the monthly bills is a challenge.

All students deserve an opportunity to create skills that they can take with them into the work force or to college.

They are eager for life skills that can help them, as they finish high school and move forward in their lives.

My Project

Every year my classroom is full of juniors and seniors who get stressed out over school and life. To help ease their stress, my psychology and English classes study varying ways to reduce stress and make healthy choices for themselves and other.

Help us build better emotional skills by providing non-fiction reading texts.

These are skills and techniques that they can use in all classes, during tests, before sporting events, and after high school graduation to relieve stress and tension. Not only will each of these items help me teach valuable psychology lessons, but students will gain life-long health and wellness skills that will assist them in a better transition to college and beyond.
