Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students face many obstacles in their lives. Making healthy food choices are definitely one of them.

Having healthy snack options available will allow our students' basic needs to be met so they can excel in their learning.

Our students are from a low-income area, where 90% of them receive free meals daily. Most of these students crave the fresh food items that we all take for granted. Having a community fridge will help support the students in learning to make healthier choices and being able to store those items to keep fresh.
