My Students

I, along with the three health and physical education teachers, teach a wide range of students, that no matter their athletic background, show a competitive nature. Most of our students however, come from low-income households and do not have access to what we could potentially provide them in class. Each student has full potential to strive, but without proper resources, it is hard to help these students succeed to be the best that they can be! Our students can go above and beyond with your help!

My Project

Our students work hard throughout their classes. Unfortunately, we don't always have what the students need or the best equipment. We are working hard to gather what our students need so they can continue to strive to their fullest potential.

We want our students to continue to be lifelong learners through the skills we teach them.

The students need hand eye coordination for everyday tasks and the set of kickballs we need can help aid in that process for physical education class. Fitness plays a huge role in society today and we're seeing it become more of an interest with our students. The medicine ball pack can help our students become stronger mentally and physically. We also want to show our students that fitness can be fun, not boring. Cue Bucket Drumming! Bucket drumming is a new up and coming fitness skill that I believe our students would love. Music is a popular hobby for students in our school and putting that together with fitness drumming can really turn our students onto something that can benefit their bodies in a healthy way.

In health, our students work hard with very little materials we have and giving them Chromebooks can better their research for papers and designs. Not many students have access to their own device and if we can provide them with Chromebooks in class, it can alleviate any stress they may feel.
