My Students

I love my students for their level of curiosity and their willingness to engage in learning new things. Many of my students have expressed the interest in learning how to cook and bake.

During the Spring 2020 Quarantine, we started on a journey learning how to cook at home in an attempt to give the students a way to engage in a social activity while doing something fun at home.

Coming back in person for the 2021-2022 school year, students will be learning about nutrition, how to make healthy snacks, lunch, and dinner.

My Project

Being able to get quality, up-to-date materials will benefit my students greatly. The learning materials purchased with the gift cards to Teacher Pay Teacher (TPT) will help support age-appropriate learning about health and nutrition. The lessons will be focusing around food choice, food insecurity, connections to Science, Math and Technology as they learn to measure out the ingredients for their recipes. These are just some of the items that will help my students as they embark on the journey of learning how to cook nutritious, budget-friendly meals.
