My Students

I am privileged to teach 60 outstanding students. My students are very inquisitive, creative, and extremely clever. We are a Title I school where over two-thirds of the population receives free or reduced-price lunch. Even through adversity, these students are still resilient, excited, and enthused about learning.

Our school is very culturally diverse, extremely competitive, and we strive for excellence daily.

Willing, ready, and always trying to stand out above the rest, we need to produce competitive scholars for the future. We are shining stars and would love to shine with or above the rest.

My Project

My students have many emotions and sometimes just need to release them in a positive way. Please help our classroom stay in touch with their health, wellness, social and emotional needs while learning every day.

A good teacher builds a relationship with all her students, getting to know them, their interests and find a way to connect with them in the classroom.

We will be focusing on health and wellness through fitness for our scholars this school year. The students will need a fitness tracker to keep a record of steps, calorie count, and monitor sleep. The students can also use the data from their fitness trackers to make dot plots, frequency tables, and stem and leaf plots applying math skills used in class. Trying to reach the whole child during COVID.
