Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I am teaching health to my class. Some of the topics are safety rules, hygiene, self - esteem strategies, and nutrition. All these topics are important to discuss with students. However, I can combine some science lessons with health topics. The students are eager to learn and will benefit from the difference between healthy and unhealthy snacks.The lessons will include understanding the five food groups, reading labels,planning their daily meals. The class discussions will focus on making healthy choices everyday. This project will help the students to be informed about a healthy lifestyle.
