Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each student at my school learns in a different way. Flexible seating and different sensory items are two options we provide to help students focus on their classwork. They are able choose which item will work best for them, which encourages them to express their needs and advocate for themselves and their learning experience.

These products will help us individualize each student's learning experience so they can be more successful in class.

Students that receive a sensory item are always very thankful that they have something to hold while reading or writing. Many of our students show improvement in focus with these options!
