My Students

I work with students who have learning disabilities. They are all mainstreamed into college prep classes. I currently work in Chemistry, Biology, and Junior English classes.

My goal is to help everyone to be the best that they can possibly be, and I truly believe that there is no limit on anyone's potential.

I am working closely with general education teachers to close the achievement gap for all students who are not performing to their potential.

My Project

Returning to school after being at home has proven very difficult for many kids. We have learned the power of journaling in our classroom. Every day we begin each class with a journaling activity. As we approach the end of the semester, student have expressed how much this has helped them

Student who are journaling, have expressed the healing power of this activity.

Journaling has empowered many teenagers to express the emotions that they have been holding inside. I have found that is is a way for us to communicate in a way that encourages a life long habit that is an exceptional tool.
