This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are high-energy and curious learners. They love read, write, and make sense of mathematics.

I have a large group of enthusiastic 5th graders this year and we are constantly running short of supplies!

Your help funding our project is much appreciated.

My savvy students are always eager to new ways to be engage in our classroom. It keeps me on my toes as a teacher and requires thoughtful planning. I make every effort to structure my classroom to maximize student agency.

My Project

Help us replace our old, borrowed, uncomfortable, and broken headsets so students can work together in small groups around our school laptops. Students like to visit our class blogs and online learning sites, but are often frustrated with how difficult it is to hear.

Your generosity will immediately impact learning in a concrete (and much appreciated) way!

Headphones will allow students to properly listen, while the splitters will facilitate them working in small groups. I chose headphones and splitters that get great reviews for durability, so these materials will last beyond just this school year.
