Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The headphones will allow our students who have specific learning plans to work independently, while concentrating and focusing on learning. We work with small groups of students in a therapeutic teaching setting, and they will utilize the headphones and mics when requiring speech to text. The headset will allow our students to use speech to text and text to speech tools on our school supplied computers.

Students love recording their writing and reading to help improve their overall verbal and reading fluency.

Background noise often becomes distracting, and having a microphone that will allow the background sounds to not interrupt their independent work will improve focus overall.
