Headphones Will Help Improve a Child's Academic Development

Help me give my students headphones to help them get better MAP scores. We do not have any headphones in our computer lab. Our student complain about not being able to hear the lessons because the speakers in the computer are not loud.

My Students

We have created a safe and uplifting environment for our students to grow and flourish. Our students are dedicated and focused on their education. Everyday, our students arrive at school fired up and ready to learn. As an educator, I love how serious the students take their education. It makes my job so much easier when students take ownership of their learning.

Even though 97% of our student are socioeconomically disadvantaged, they do not use that as an excuse for them not to learn.

We teach our students about the importance of grit and perseverance. Our students know they have to persevere no matter their circumstances. They are hard working and do not take what they have for granted.

My Project

To help our students improve their MAP scores, we use a program called Pathblazer. MAP is program used to assess our student academic progress and Pathblazer is an online program tied to a student's MAP score. Pathblazer has been a boon for our school and our students. We use it everyday and our students enjoy tracking their academic growth.

In order for our students to fully immerse themselves in the technology, they need headphones.

Having headphones in the computer lab will reduce the distractions for our students and help them improve their MAP scores. A donation for this project goes directly to the development of a socioeconomically disadvantaged child's brain.
