Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Technology is now a part of our education. I am requesting headphones for my class of first grade students. Our district requires reading and math programs to enhance their academic growth. Headphones can cancel out noise to improve their focus. It will help them stay engaged in their required activities and learning experiences.

My students experience different apps and games that make learning fun.

Headphones will help my English language learners improve their language skills. When students are using headphones the overall noise level will decrease. Students will be able to focus on their work. I will be able to meet with small groups of students without as many interruptions.

This gift for my class would be greatly appreciated. Many of my parents are unable to purchase a pair of headphones for their child. I am also asking for a charging station so students are able to charge their school issued ipad. This would help them be responsible if their ipad drains.
