Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

On October 6, 2022, I create the first part of this project where I asked for headphones for my bilingual students. One week later I got funded. However, I see myself in the necessity of asking for the same materials (headphones) in this project as well because if I do not do it half of my class will not have new headphones. I made a mistake in the number of headphones I asked and now I am here with that dilemma. However, I know that generous people will make this project possible and all my students will get the opportunity to have new headphones.

My 5th-graders bilingual students are in need of new headphones to use in our classroom.

As you know we currently live in a technological world. In our class technology is part of our day-to-day life, and plays an important role in their engagement and learning.

Many of my students who are learning English as a new language use online platforms where they listen and do activities that support them with the new language they are learning. Therefore, they need high-quality headphones that will support their learning. Also, my students will be using the new headphones on other online platforms that support them with math, reading, and writing. Your donation would be extremely appreciated, and they would also benefit greatly.
