My Project

Our small group center time includes a technology center where students are working on the iReady learning platform. This center is integral to their academic success as students are given lessons that are personalized to their current areas of growth. This ensures that they are getting special focus in the domains most needed by them to be successful readers.

By donating to this project, you are helping my second graders to maintain their focus on their lessons, which will ultimately booster their reading skills and confidence.

With these headphones, my students will be able to clearly hear the skills being taught to them and questions being asked of them without any background noise. Not only this, but with enough headphones for each student, students will be able to practice being responsible for their own headphones: how to take care of them and how to keep track of them. This type of responsibility is an integral skill that can be applied to many different parts of their lives from now as a second grader extending up to adulthood.

My students are so eager to increase their reading abilities, and these headphones will provide them with the support they need to achieve their goals!
