My Project

The past couple of years have changed the future of schooling forever. As we know, technology is a huge part of our lives. It is now a permanent part of our students' lives. My students love doing work on a computer and especially if they are trying to catch up to their grade level. They enjoy the interaction the headphones provide them. Right now my students some of my students are using headphones that are very old. The majority of their computer time is spent on websites or activities that require them to listen to audio. My students spend most of their time readjusting the earpieces or telling me how much they hurt their ears because they slide down the metal piece on the side and don't sit on their ears. Sometimes students have to listen with their audio on low without the headphones and that doesn't allow them to have that personal interaction with the activity. It also disturbs the other students.

By donating to this project, you can help my students continue to have positive computer experiences and make sure their focus is on learning.

My class ranges in so many different levels that a computer is necessary for the programs that I can offer the children. We have students who speak many different languages as well and they are learning English through computer programs. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
