My Project

My students perform best when text is read to them. This helps to make sure they properly receive information when independently completing assessments, such as tests and quizzes on computers. The M-Step is a test that the state of MI requires of fourth grade. To ensure my scholars have all the tools they need to succeed on this high-stake test, headphones are a must.

Hearing directions, passages, and answer options read aloud will be a huge help to my kiddos!

Not only will this help on the M-Step, but they will use the headphones daily when doing weekly tests/quizzes and independent work; all of which take place on Chromebooks. Along with providing read aloud, headphones will keep the students' sound from distracting others during work time. Many times, sound has been too loud or turned on accidently and it disrupts the classroom learning. Ultimately, headphones will vastly improve the quality of learning for my class.
