My Project

One of my biggest aspirations as a teacher is meeting students where they are at, which enables them to grow much more than they would in a traditional structure. Because of this, we use the Modern Classroom model, which focuses on students proving competency and working at their own pace.

Working at our own pace means that I record all of the lessons in advance, and students watch them on their Chromebooks, rewatching and moving as quickly or as slowly as needed.

In order to do this, my students need reliable headphones as many do not have the funds to buy their own. I have purchased earbuds in the past but they seem to be quite flimsy and do not last very long. These would stay in class and be reused after sanitizing year after year.
