Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work with a very diverse group of students that are eager to increase their learning! They are being taught both Spanish and English beginning in kinder. The money will go to buying a new class set of headphones they will need to use the reading programs online.

They are so excited to use the adaptive I-ready program with their new headphones!

Without these headphones, the students will not be able to concentrate on their own computer. They are scholars eager to know as much as they can in the medical field direction. Thank you for all your support!

My Project

Students need a lot of resources to be able to learn new things. In my classroom, they get the chance to use a program called I-Ready. This program interacts differently with each student. It measures the level they are currently at and starts teaching them from that level, until they've mastered it.

If each student has their headphones for their own computer, then they will be able to concentrate much easier.

Being able to block out any outside noise, they will be more focused in their own work.

I also added some pencils and bins to the project because they will be doing their work on scratch paper. This will let us see where students get confused while doing their work.
