Reading fluency is an important skill we practice daily in third grade. Students are given many opportunities to read and practice their oral reading fluency, however, students don’t always have the opportunity to listen to themselves read fluently.
Using headphones with built in microphones allows students the chance to record themselves reading.
They can then play back their recoding to check their speed, accuracy and expression and send their recording to the teacher.
Having a class set of headphone with microphones gives all students the opportunity to record their reading at the same time.
