This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Dear donors, as this current school year is coming to an end, I begin to start planning for my upcoming 5th graders. I always begin with resources that I know my students need in order to succeed.
As an upper grade teacher we constantly use online resources as part of our instruction, headphones are a crucial key to learn in the 21st century.
For example, we use a website called IREADY for math and ela. In this website, I assign classwork that consists of students watching learning videos, listening to the videos, and then they get to show what they learned through tests. We also use our computers for testing, I teach ELD which is a class for students who are learning english. I use a websites that allows students to practice their speaking skills, in order to do that we need headphones to hear to the instructions.
Lastly, this project in intended to support all students in their own learning pathway. We use multiple online resources and it will be tremendously appreciated in my class will have access to personal headphones. In advance, thank you for supporting my 5th graders with a class set of headphones.
