My Project

Our Philadelphia School District classroom is in need of a class set of headphones. Over the last seven years of teaching here, the population of English learners has over tripled! These students need headphones to support their English learning. With these headphones students will be able to listen to texts, videos and more. These headphones will also help other learners in their efforts to learn how to read.

Some ways we will use this donation is through station learning.

In station learning, the 33 students in a class are working on different assignments and tasks that fit their learning goals. Students can rotate through stations at their own pace. The headphones will allow the students to take charge of their independent learning and get the supports they need while I am helping other students in the room.
