Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are curious, kind, and persistent children. Our school is a Title 1 School meaning the large majority of students are low-income, receive free lunch, and some are in shelters.

They love technology!

As a teacher, I want to prepare them for the future where they will need to be tech savvy. I also want to help them find a love of reading through the technology programs we have.

The one problem is my classroom does not have headphones. A set of these 10 headphones would allow me to use my 5 laptops so 10 students could access literacy, math, and coding enrichment programs! These particular headphones connect to one another so no splitters are needed. Therefore, with just 5 laptops I can get 10 students access in one center! Please consider donating so we can start out the new school year with excitement and joy in learning!

My Project

My students will benefit from these headphones because they will be able to:

- Utilize our different educational programs such as RAZ-Kids, TrueFlix, BrainPop and Coding

- Listen to their writing

- Listen to their reading to see which errors they made and how to fix them

These headphones are going to be useful since they connect to each other and so no splitters are necessary!

This way, our 5 laptops can give 10 students technology enrichment at one time!

Please consider sponsoring my classroom as the students in this class and another third grade class will be able to use these daily to enrich their lives in literacy, math, and technology.
