Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Technology is constantly supporting the learning of our students, specifically our English Language Learners and ELD students. To better support my students, a class set of headphones that students can utilize is necessary. Without headphones in the classroom, individual practice can be difficult and noisy, thus making headphones an essential everyday item in the classroom.

Headphones will help support my ELD students because they will allow them to practice their listening and speaking on their Chromebooks independently.

Headphones will be beneficial to my students and their success in reading, speaking, and listening. Plus, headphones will increase their desire to learn and utilize technology to do so while also making the learning environment less noisy thus easier to concentrate and practice.

The basic classroom supplies will also help to support keeping the classroom clean and adding color to student learning. The post it’s will help support giving students on-demand feedback and the students will be utilizing them to add color to their reflections when learning.
