Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

"Do you have headphones?" We hear this question every other day in our high school library. Unfortunately, our answer has always been "No, sorry." I am hoping with your help, our library can change this! Our high school students are frequently tasked with watching videos as part of their classwork. When students come to the library to complete this work, usually because they do not have a computer at home, the video noise disrupts other students who also need a quiet working environment. Our students also listen to their music while they work as a way to help them focus.

Your donation will help us acquire headphones for our students so they can focus on completing their work while also maintaining a quiet, respectful environment in the library.

Our students are incredibly responsible and will take excellent care of the donated items. Headphones will be made to check-out and there will be rules for use, care, and storage so students can continue to have access to this privilege and preserve the technology's longevity.
