My Students
My students from Bountiful, Utah are wonderful and smart first graders. They are diverse and from varied backgrounds. They love reading and learning.
Early education has been impacted from COVID greatly. These are the students that need as much attention and focus on as possible.
My Project
My first grade students will benefit greatly by receiving a classroom set of headphones. Each student will be able to do their online reading assignments without distractions. While some of my students are working on their Ipads other may be doing centers by using their new paints. Art is an important part of social-emotional learning. Painting can give students an outlet. During COVID students did not receive simple necessities like paints and paint brushes at home. I hope that I can instill a love of art and reading at the same time.
