My Project

I love how eager my students are to engage with challenging texts, even when they might struggle with reading on their own. They show up each day ready to explore new ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and share their perspectives. However, many of my students benefit from listening to audio versions of novels, which helps improve their comprehension and allows them to connect more deeply with the material.

The headphones I’m requesting will make a big difference in their learning by giving them the opportunity to listen to audio versions of the novels we read.

This will allow students to follow along at their own pace, enhance their understanding of complex texts, and build their confidence in tackling new material. Listening to the rhythm and tone of a narrator also helps them appreciate the nuances of language and literary techniques.

My goal for this project is to ensure that all my students have access to the tools they need to succeed, no matter their reading level. By providing headphones, I want to create an inclusive learning environment where everyone can fully engage with the books we read in class, whether it's following along with the audio or zoning in during independent reading time.

What makes my students special is their persistence and willingness to engage with difficult materials, even when it's outside their comfort zone. They are thoughtful, creative, and resilient, and I know these headphones will give them the support they need to reach their full potential.
