Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These headphones will help all of my students access content, design and develop programs, as well as help enforce key computer science concepts. This class set of headphones will really help my students with individualized education plans and my students designated as multilingual learners, enabling them to rewatch teacher created tutorials and self-pace their learning.

All of my classes will use these headphones regularly to access tutorials and support videos to learn key CS concepts as well as multiple programming languages including JavaScript, HTML/CSS and Python.

In my AP computer science classes, my students are building apps using JavaScript, and in my intro to programming classes my students learn web development and drawing and animation, employing p5.js and HTML/CSS. Having the ability to go back and access video-based entry points while they are designing and building their creations has been a wonderful way to help me support all of the learners in my classroom.
