My students are a group of amazingly smart and inquisitive first graders!
In first grade, students learn the foundational skills they need to help them be successful throughout their educational careers.
We have a diverse community of students with a high number of English Language Learners.
As is true for schools in many California districts, our school is facing budget cuts which are making it difficult to provide these students with the supplemental supplies they deserve. Any donation will truly change this classroom and provide a deep and enriching school experience.
My Project
We are a class full of learners and in an attempt make our learning more engaging and successful we are requesting supplies that can be used in the classroom.
We are requesting headphones for each student and 4 wireless headphones for small group listening.
Headphones will help them focus during learning. I also want them to listen to a story as a small group while still being able to distance, which makes the bluetooth headphones vital. I’m hoping these supplies will not only uplift their learning but their spirits as well.
