This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are highly motivated to learn 4th graders and they are hard workers. We have a very diverse population in this grade level, a mix of special education students, GT students, at risk students and a big majority of bilingual education students. Each one of our students is determined to do their best in the classroom.
My Project
After the pandemic, technology became an important part of our lives. We became virtual teacher and students, and today we combine the best of both and became a hybrid educational environment. We became a one to one campus, where each student has their own computers, but we lack the headphones to help them better.
Students practice their fluency and the learning programs they use require their own set of headphones to focus better on the sound and their program.
These headphones will make a big difference in their learning. Each one of my students comes from a low income household and struggle to pay for their own equipment.
