My Project

My lovely 6th-grade students need headphones in order for them to expand their use of technology (apps and other platforms) that they need to create digital projects. Equally important, they will access programs that help them build on skills that they are developing in specific content areas like English Language Arts or Social Studies.

Today's youngsters need opportunities to interact with innovative technologies.

There are so many ways that students can learn about new concepts and also"show what they know". Teachers will always make a place for hands-on learning and projects in which students can engage physically with materials to create, however, we should not limit access to new technologies that will propel student learning. This year I am so excited to introduce movie creation apps, animation apps, and others so that my students can create digital presentations about English Language Arts and Social Studies topics to share with their class.

Additionally, these headphones will be utilized when students are using reading programs that include audio clips and demonstrations. This is especially helpful to students learning English as a second language as well as special needs students. Using the headphones helps students to focus and reduces confusion that can happen when they hear another student's audio.

Altogether, there are many applications for these headphones that will improve student engagement and learning.
