Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students I work with are K-2 English Language Learners students who come from countries ranging from Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Honduras, Yemen and Brazil.

I am honored to be their teacher and want to give them the best education I can possibly give them.

I am always looking for creative ways to enhance my teaching and make the best out of the their education. They are eager students who have the love of learning and motivation needed to inspire them. Many don't have the necessary advantage that other students do because of their economic background and lack of resources. Their love of learning is what pushes me everyday so that I can help be that star that they could look up to and be inspired to take on any challenge life throws at them.

My Project

My students recently received their Google Chrome Laptops thanks to DonorsChoose.org but we are in need of some great quality headphones because our old headphones are always getting tangled up which wastes valuable time setting up. Having a good quality headphones that is the same color and the same for everyone will help avoid students fighting for the "best" headphone to use in class.

The wireless printer would help students print anything related to what we are learning in class such as images, reports, their work after working with a specific program and would help make my lessons pop out when I print color pictures that may be needed in a lesson.
