Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the 2023-24 school year is ending, I am reflecting on things to change for the upcoming school year. I would love to increase my organization in the classroom and encourage my students to be more independent in their daily routines.

An organized environment leads to a calm, efficient classroom for learning.

I want my students to learn independence as they enter my 1st grade classroom. I am asking for drawers for small group / station work, mailboxes for their take home papers and name plate stands for their name tags and pencils to place on their tables. These items will help my students develop an independent daily routine. My students can learn to be organized and optimize their learning opportunities by shortening transition times. I am also requesting durable headphones so my students can work quietly and independently on their iPads.
