My Project

My students are eager learners who are excited about our STEM classes. In my classes we are currently learning to program our robots, sketching and taking notes on the processes and skills. These projects are inquiry- based lessons, that include discussions and applying the material they learn to case studies. My students will collaborate to make sense of the material and concepts in groups. Students from all different levels collaboratively work to test their skills and ingenuity. To complete these projects and keep good notes, my students need erasable pens and headphones to work individually on their programming skills.

My students are from diverse backgrounds: girls, minorities, immigrants, and students with disabilities.

We are a large school that serves 4,000 students; all from diverse backgrounds. Our school is the most diverse school in our state and we take pride in CARE-ing about our students. We believe that we should: C-Challenge students, A-Achieve academic excellence, R-Respect differences, E-Engage all students in the learning process
