Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My children are the most loving and caring children in my school. This year has been quite a challenge for them and they are determined to make the best of the situation. My children are learning remotely and attend our virtual class everyday. With so much excitement and joy, they greet their classmates and show so much support the each other without being physically together. They love opportunities to share their ideas and are very willing to offer help to teach others, whether it be a technical issue or even a method to solving a problem. Other teachers and administrators will join our google meet and comment on how kind my children are to each other and that makes my heart grow. They really are wonderful.

My Project

Thank you for considering our request for headphones. My class of 2nd graders are working remotely from home and could really use some extra support in connecting to our google meets. I am sure we all know what it’s like to connect with others online and have experienced times when it is difficult to hear what is being said. That’s why we are asking for headphones for our group.

We are asking for headphones that have a microphone connected to make communication online easier for my children.

My children are learning from different environments outside of school and that includes crowded living spaces, shelters, and day care centers. They are sharing work areas with other members of their household or others in a day care setting. It would be so helpful to my children to have a headphone that helps them cancel out the extraneous sounds and focus their attention on their education. My multi language learners and my struggling learners would benefit from your gift and it would be greatly appreciated.
