My Project
We are so excited to start our new unit on clothes. Throughout this unit, our students will learn the features of clothes, how to take care of clothes, and how people make clothes. Students will explore patterns on clothes, they will design their own clothes and learn about clothes worn in other cultures.
The washer, dryer, and play laundry detergent will help us transform our dramatic play area into a laundromat where children can go and wash their dolls clothes.
Students will learn to sort clothes by colors and type of fabric.
The books will be used to teach students about clothing in different cultures. These books will also help explain how, why, and when we use certain clothes.
