Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Communication is crucial to being able to express emotions, learn new skills, understand concepts and directives, and make friends. Storytelling, interactions, and manipulatives will help my bilingual young students who have speech and language difficulties acquire language to help them understand and express their wants, needs, and ideas that will generalize into the classroom setting.

Highly engaging materials also help my students gain joint attention skills, learn in a fun way, and acquire skills faster!

Bilingual students who have speech and language difficulties and other special needs benefit from manipulatives, puzzles, and books, that offer lots of exposure to language in a meaningful way.
