This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in an urban setting in the Bronx. I have over sixty students per class period. I sometimes don't have enough equipment and materials to support everyone's needs. During this Pandemic classes in the gym have got a little harder without the right equipment, and I am trying to get enough equipment to switch out to clean for the next classes. My challenge is trying to get donors to aid me in supporting their growth and development in P.E. using technology. Making PE fun using technology.
My Project
Having this new equipment will ensure safety in the gym and allow my students to play with ne equipment. During the pandemic my students have missed out being in the gym and this school year they are back in the gym for the first time in a year. I want to make sure they are safe and what a better way with new foam balls for them to play with.
Students in my school have endured so much over the past year and I am really hoping for this new equipment so we can have a fun and safe year in the gym.
