This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students walk to school daily and some students do not come to school when it is too cold outside.
I want to provide hats and gloves that they can use to keep them warm as they walk to school.
Students also need a snack after school.
When students are warm, they are active participants in the classroom. If students come to school on a regular basis, it helps promote good attendance and students do not fall behind in their learning. After school, I would like my students to have a healthy snack to eat while completing homework.
