Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The weather is getting colder each day and most of my students do not have hats, scarves or gloves to wear. Most of my students are low income and parents have a hard time affording clothes when children grow quickly and wear out things easily. I would love to give my families some winter basics to make sure that every student stays warm and healthy.

When we do yoga in class I can see worn out socks, some with holes.

Simple clothing essentials are a luxury for some children. Helping parents out with a few things will allow them to save their money for shoes or warm coats when needed.
