My Students

Do you ever remember hatching eggs in school? My students need to see the wonder of eggs hatching into chickens.

We are a small school in Florida.

Our kindergarten students come from a variety of backgrounds and have different needs. They love when they can engage in hands-on science and see things as they occur. They also love writing about what they have learned in their science notebooks.

My Project

Our students love to be able to see things as they occur. By having an incubator and brooder, my students will be able to see the life cycle of a chick first hand. They will be able to write about what is happening in their science notebook. By having the chicks hatch, the children will be provided with real life experiences that will get them excited about learning. This, in turn, will increase their scientific knowledge.

If we are given the opportunity to hatch eggs, my students will have a higher engagement in their learning.

They will be excited to write about what is happening in their science notebooks. This will help increase their writing ability as well. Please help us get these materials to increase their learning.
