Help Mr. Fragomeni

I teach at an East Harlem charter school that services children from both Harlem and the South Bronx. All of the children are underprivileged and appreciate everything that is given to them. Over the course of this year, we have put in a lot of hard work and time in order to build a library in our school for the children. We have had a lot of fiction books donated as well as some shelves to put them on. One thing that I would still like to add to our library is a reference section. Our students get very excited when introduced to new subjects. They find topics such as the ocean, forest, and various animals extremely interesting. This is why I am asking for this collection of Eyewitness Books. This series of books is wonderful for introducing new topics and providing a wealth of information including pictures of each book's topic. Thanks to our great reading teachers, our students have been inspired to become avid readers. These books will offer our children a non-fiction option that they can use to further their reading skills, while learning new and exciting information about topics that many of them have never seen before. Thank you for considering this proposal!
