My Students

Everyday, students come to school and continue the legacy of our school's name sake by advancing their own lives through the pursuit of education. They show up ready to work hard and apply for college. The majority of students qualify for free or reduced price lunch programs, SAT fee waivers, and other financial assistance to access some of the most basic needs to further their education.

However, they don't let these obstacles stop them, they persist and live up to our school's motto, "Without struggle, there is no progress." and are stronger individuals for it.

My Project

There are any number of reasons students need to print, scan, and copy documents for school. There's the normal reasons a high school student needs to print -- essays, reports, images for projects, and this printer will be used for those purposes, but now imagine going through the college process might influence others coming up after you.

You've already submitted your college applications, heard back from your schools, and learn you've been accepted!

In my class, there is space for seniors to post their letters of acceptance to inspire younger students. But the printer in our classroom is on its last legs and my students need a new one to keep this tradition going!
