Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There is nothing better than being celebrated for a job well done! By the end of this school year, my grade level partner and I will have been lucky to teach this group of amazing students for two consecutive years. Our 5th grade students have worked so hard these past few years, overcoming so many obstacles such as virtual learning and not seeing their friends. Despite these challenges, they succeeded the best they could and will soon be on their way to middle school. We want to make their day to be one they will never forget!

Because all celebrations are extra and not provided, we would love to be able to celebrate the end of their elementary school years by providing the essentials for a fun event of a glow in the dark party as well as a bag with goodies and a T-shirt that will hold messages from their teachers and friends.
