My Project

I want to provide a safe space for the teens at my school to feel comfortable to seek help from their counselor. Their mental health is very important and they must feel relaxed and know that we care by the quality of environment we provide. Having a clean, fresh space, decorated with social/emotional tools at their disposal will help. As well as having snacks for them when they are hungry. My students are special because many are coming from underserved neighborhoods but they attend school with the focus of earning their high school diploma to have more opportunities as adults than their parents.
