Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the next month, my students will be celebrating and learning about the Lunar New Year. It is important for students to learn about other cultures. This will help them feel more connected and allow students to learn about their classmates. In the class, we will be learning about the traditions of the Lunar New Year through literature, writing, and art projects!

For this project, I am requesting two arts and craft projects for New Year of the Snake!

I am also requesting fortune cookies as well as gold chocolate candies. My students will love to learn about the Lunar New Year in the various activities that they will be partaking. Please help us get the material needed to make this happen. Happy Holidays! Again, thank you for your support!
