My Project

Exposure to various cultures helps children understand that the world is made up of diverse people with different traditions, languages, and customs. Learning about the Chinese Lunar New Year can be a rich and engaging experience for my preschoolers. They will learn about the symbolism behind these items and how they are integral to the New Year festivities. They will hear stories about the lunar new year celebrations. We will learn how to use chopsticks and learn some simple Chinese characters with calligraphy. Providing this cultural celebration can spark curiosity and help foster a more inclusive worldview.
