My Students

My students are ready and eager to learn. We are a Title I school with 100% of the students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. Our students come from a rural community with parents who want them to succeed and the best for them in life. My students are in first grade.

We enjoy learning in a nontraditional environment and using technology to explore the world around us.

My students are excited and love the opportunity to explore the world around them. They have been learning to work collaboratively and how to find solutions to real-world problems.

My Project

My students love our classroom. They enjoy being a part of their learning and how much fun we have! In our classroom, we use a lot of community supplies and share hands on materials. They don't want to miss a single day! Staying healthy is a top priority.

This project is to provide our classroom with the tools we need to keep germs away and students at school.

My students are eager and willing to help keep our classroom community clean and ready to learn in. They are learning to clean up after themselves. This project includes a cordless vacuum so our classroom floor with be clean and ready to mop. It also includes PineSol for mopping the floor. Students need GermX and Clorox wipes to reduce the spread of germs. We do not have a bathroom or sink in our first grade classroom so if a student sneezes (and do they ever!) they can not wash their hands immediately. It is nice to have GermX available for them to clean their hands right then.
