My Project

I am hoping to add a Little Tykes Climbing unit to my classroom. I currently have students that climb on the furniture, chairs, and window seals all day long. This will be used in our sensory corner with our floor mat. It will provide my students with a way to work on their gross motor and motor planning skills while inside the classroom.

Sensory seekers love to climb high!

My classroom serves over 10 preschool aged students with intensive needs and developmental delays. Many of my students are developmentally around a year old so climbing is a big part of their development. I want to provide them with a safe and purposeful spot to redirect their climbing. This Little Tykes climber will do just that!
